Horrible problem with my family?

Hang on. From age 14 to 18, I wasn't allowed to attend the church of my choice, but had to go with my parents to a church that believes things I don't. I put up with a lot of verbal abuse and even some physical abuse. It's tough to respond to that with love and kindness, but do your best. And keep praying. And ask others to pray for you, too.
