Have you ever lost a friend?

Because you came out as gay or Bi? I am not neither of those, but my friend amy came out to me this past fall and i just fig that she was the same amy i have always know. she just wants to date girls now. No biggie. Anyways i have lost some friends because of it (which if they where my true friends,,they would not care) they got mad because i stuck by her. has this happened to you? thanks
