Moms who ONLY agree to giving pacifier...?

As long they don't take it to Kindergarten with them they're fine. No really that's what I think having a pacifier is not going to be detrimental to them. Besides some off comments "Aren't they too old" which your kid probably won't even care about. Does your son only want it when he can see it? Do you give it to him whenever he cries not just nap and bed time? I threw all mine a way at 2, my kid didn't really want it unless she saw it. I did this because I began to notice she only wanted it when she saw it. When she was younger I did give it to her when she cried for naps and bed, and sometimes just to calm her down. My kid was very oral and I couldn't be putting her on my every hour like I did with the first.
